Lakshmi Telugu Movie Review 2018

Ditya and Prabhu Deva are the lead roles in the movie ‘Lakshmi’, which is directed by Tamil superstar AR Vijay. Now let’s see how this film came to the audience today.

Lakshmi Movie Story:

For Lakshmi (Ditya) dancing is life. But her mother Nandini (Aishwarya Rajesh), because of previous experience she didn’t liked Lakshmi to be Dancer. So Lakshmi used to dance without knowing her mom, whenever she got chance. Pride of India juniors will be the start of the contest. Krishna (Prabhu Deva) helps her in the show that Lakshmi has been involved in this show. Who is the Krishna? What is the relationship between Lakshmi’s mother Nandhi and Krishna? What did Krishna do for Lakshmi? Will Lakshmi win in the Pride of India Contest? That’s the other story.

Plus points:

Ditya is the main attraction for this story on the background of dance. She impresses audience with her dance and also acting. This is the first film for her, but she acted like the experienced gilr. The role of Prabhu Deva in the role of coach is impressive. In particular, at this age, he has also seen audiences with his Steps. Choreographer Rayal and Paresh dances will attract audiences. Importantly, for 5 minutes, the song is highlighted for a dance composition without music.

Lakshmi is suffering from Stage Fear and a scene was there which will clear her fear has also shown very well. Aishwarya Rajesh is playing the role of Lakshmi Mother. The director added the experience to the simple story and added to his experience.

Minus Points:

The story is so simple that there are no interesting twists. At the end of the twist, the audience is not well connected. The absence of a lot of other commercial items, except the cinema dancers, is disappointing. Kovai Sarala and Satyam Rajesh are not used properly.

The Second Half is not speed as First Half. The scenes in the second half seem to be a bit stretching. The film is being dubbed in Telugu language and that is also not perfect.

Technical Category:

El Vijay took the simple story and added some twists to it without any bump. He has succeeded in reaching the screen as he wanted. Sam’s performance in the film is good. The songs impressed with the background score.

Final Words:

Lakshmi has turned out to be different from the regular commercial films, appearing with impressive dance. In the Lakshmi film with Prabhudeva, Dithya acting, dance is a highlight of the film and there is no interesting point which is the minus point. Finally, the film is a favourite for those who love dance.
